MOSCOW URBAN FORUM — is the largest international congress on the development challenges of global megacities. The Forum has been held annually since 2011.

MUF brings together representatives of city administrations of Russia and the world, architects, urban planners, developers, heads of financial companies, investors, technological startups, media representatives and average citizens.

MUF Fest is an open program of the Moscow Urban Forum 2017 on city communities, private initiatives and projects that change everyday life. For the first time, the Festival have hosted a business program this year. It have been held on July 6-7 in the Community Stage hall, where presentations and discussions on megacity community development took place.

In addition, during the four days of the Festival (July 6-9), the city’s open-air venues hosted public lectures and interviews with star speakers from the Forum and workshops, a number of running tours, independent music concerts, an exhibition of urban art and pitch-sessions from city start-ups.

MUF Community Awards is the first cross-disciplinary award for urban communities, independent projects, private initiatives and start-ups that made a significant contribution to Moscow’s development.

The focus of the award is Disruptive Communities, projects and organizations that greatly changed, turned around and defined the development of a certain sphere of urban life.
