Urban Social Packages. Social Infrastructure of Modern City

Modern cities are the hubs for the key resource of the 21st century – human capital. As its most valuable resource, people shape the city to their needs. In choosing a place to live, a person must choose a combined package that includes education, health care, and social insurance services. Along with other global megacities, Moscow is facing the issues of population growth, ageing, economic shifts and technological advances, which together set down new requirements to social infrastructure.

  • What critical changes in social infrastructure have come about in the past 5-10 years?
  • What is the new standard for municipal social services?
  • How will social services evolve in the next ten years and what changes should be made today?
