LECTURE: HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN "MAP" OF CULTURAL MOSCOW AND NOT GET LOST AMONG THE EVENTS?

Moscow has one of the most intensive cultural lives among any global city, perhaps even ranking first in terms of the number of events. Every day, hundreds of museums, galleries and art spaces open their doors, and events of different scale take place in the city. How do you avoid getting lost in all this diversity? How do you avoid wasting time in lines or spending it at exhibitions or events that are bound to disappoint you?

We will talk about the capital's cultural map, and about how to create your own atlas and itineraries. We will try to classify the capital's culture, and understand what might be of interest to you personally. You will discover several secrets and tricks of bohemian life in the big city, and learn how and where a little maneuvering can help a person in this diverse cultural context.
