Excursions Экскурсии по архитектурным бюро 16:00 - 17:00 | About Moscow
THE TECHNOLOGICAL WORLD OF ILLUSIONS OR SPACE AS A TOUCHPAD: ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
This excursion is designed for a professional audience of real estate market specialists, architects, and students of relevant universities.
Modern high-tech cinemas, multiplexes and entertainment centres require the skills of an architectural project team not only in their professional sphere of design and engineering, but also their understanding of how such facilities function and their economic role:
- How is the architectural and functional concept of a multiplex formed? How do we correctly address the size of auditoriums, foyers, cafes and restaurants, and other functional areas in a dedicated "spot"?
- How do we create a space both comfortable and popular for the target audience using the tools of architecture and design?
- What are the features of designing new high-tech multiplexes, and how do we reconstruct a "tired" Soviet-era cinema?
The future commercial result of the project and convenience of its operation largely depend on how effective and thoughtful its planning and design solutions are. Architect Aleksandr Balabin, director general of the Severin Project architectural and design company, will tell all about how to design a successful high-tech multiplex.
Meeting point: Artplay, Nizhnyaya Syromyatnicheskaya 10, building 2, 7th floor (Kurskaya/Chkalovskaya metro station). Group meets at the architectural bureau.
