Augmented reality and digital capabilities of the Russian capital at the Smart City stand
At the stand of the city portal and the Government of Moscow visitors can view a giant interactive panel with the possibility of contactless control. It provides an opportunity to understand what the "smart" city already looks like today. The presentation covers the Moscow e-school (MESH), through which parents can check the grades and attendance of schoolchildren from their mobile devices. Here you can learn about the possibilities of the Single Medical Information and Analytical System (EMIAS). Citizens use this platform to arrange appointments with a doctor online, and doctors use it to create electronic medical records, look at their patient's medical history and write out electronic prescriptions.
At the Smart City stand it is also possible to view Moscow’s capabilities through the prism of augmented reality. Here urban interchanges and a subway map come to life, and a special application in panoramic mode shows how city streets have changed over the last hundred years.
A new stage in the development of telemedicine and the development of 5G cellular networks
The stand of the Megafon operator company presents the possibilities of modern telemedicine - an ultrasound device that can be remotely controlled from anywhere in the world. The mechanical "hand" was developed jointly with the Chinese company Huawei. According to experts, such devices can be useful for small settlements where there is a shortage of qualified medical personnel. The device operates on the basis of a new generation 5G cellular network. It is planned that the widespread roll-out of high-speed data transmission technology will occur in Russia by 2020.
Communicate with a hologram and receive a souvenir at the “Hospitable Moscow” stand
The stand of the Russian capital's Department of Sports and Tourism offers visitors the opportunity to talk to a virtual guide located inside a 55-inch transparent panel. He provides information on the best tourist spots in Moscow, about dishes of Russian cuisine and suitable hotels. At the stand you can also see a printed guide to the city indicating the capital’s most important and significant sights and print a personalized cover for your mobile device.
The modern standard for formation of the living environment - medium-rise buildings and comfortable public spaces
At the stand of Strelka KB and DOM.RF visitors can learn about the new principles for formation of the housing environment in Russian cities. These are low buildings with up to eight floors, underground parking, well-maintained courtyards and public spaces on the ground floor. An index of the quality of the urban environment for each city in the country is also presented. It is based on the level of development of transport, business, social and city infrastructure.
Feel like a doctor, learn about the opportunities provided to citizens of different ages on an interactive map, and read a book about the history of Moscow
A medical simulator from the simulator center of the Botkin Hospital has been installed at the exhibition space of the Social Development stand. With its help anyone can perform a simple operation, for example, to take hold of a blood vessel and apply a clip. The "operation" is carried out using a special device, and to add to the realism stereo glasses are used, creating a three-dimensional effect. Such simulators are designed for both those in training and experts and are used to teach students of the Russian capital’s medical universities. In addition, you can also take a tour of an operating room with the help of virtual reality glasses.
The Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has prepared a large interactive map of Moscow. It shows the number of social facilities, monuments of architecture, parks and theaters in the city. Visitors can also select their age group and see the number of useful city buildings and facilities. At the Moscow City Heritage stand it is possible to learn about the history of the capital, work on the preservation and restoration of architectural monuments and archaeological finds, and also receive a souvenir in the form of one of the books published by the Department of Cultural Heritage.
Moscow transport in augmented reality and a photographic souvenir
At the stand of the capital’s transport complex, visitors can view the work of the rolling stock of public transport in augmented reality. The video stand also presents videos about the complex’s most important projects during 2010-2017, and it is also possible to create a photographic souvenir using augmented reality: against the background of metro train or a new generation Vityaz-M tram.
Learn about the history of VDNKh with the help of augmented reality and view a giant hologram of Moscow's coat of arms
