MegaFon is a digital opportunities company that occupies leading positions in Russia's telecommunications market. MegaFon is actively participating in the implementation of the Digital Economy state programme: it is creating integrated solutions for the state and business and is introducing new technologies to the Russian regions. Agreements have already concluded with the administrations of the oblasts of Ulyanovsk, Pskov and Saratov, and the Republic of Udmurtia. Their development priorities are big data technologies and the Internet of Things. MegaFon also won the tender to provide the telecom infrastructure for the mobile and fixed-line services at 2017 Confederations Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup venues.
