Mikhail Blinkin

Mikhail Blinkin is one of the most prominent Russian experts in the area of transport and urban studies, Professor at Vysokovsky Graduate School of Urbanism. 

Mr. Blinkin is a member of Advisory Council under the Government of the Russian Federation, member of the Civic Chamber of the city of Moscow and the Civic Chamber of the Moscow Region, member of Executive Committee of the UITP’s Eurasian Division, member of the Board of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and Urban development council of the Skolkovo Foundation.

Also, Mikhail Blinkin has a position of Chairman of the Public Council at the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Chairman of Public and Business Council at the "Safe and High-Quality Roads" priority project, and Professor at the International Academy of Architecture, Moscow Branch (IAAM). From 2011 to 2012, he oversaw the transport segment of the "Strategy-2020 project". 

In April 2012, he was awarded the Order of Honour for his "significant contribution to the development of socioeconomic strategy of Russia for the period up to 2020".
