An increased level of comfort within the urban environment is becoming one of the highest-priority administrative objectives facing the authorities in Russia’s largest cities. During the implementation of the My Street programme, Moscow authorities were able to test various tools for reshaping the urban environment. The development of a single urban development standard would make it possible to scale Moscow’s experience to fit all cities in Russia.
