As part of their study, PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia analyzed the readiness of major world cities for innovative changes. It also rated the current potential for megacities to introduce technological solutions and products in various social spheres: health, education, security, tourism and culture, transport, economics, housing and public utilities, urban development, and interaction with citizens.
The effect of scale. The first global ranking of agglomerations
As a result of the research, two ratings were formed: the top 20 largest agglomerations in terms of their development dynamics and the top 10 agglomerations for development effectiveness.
