Andrey Pavlenko is one of the nation's top oncologists. In March 2018, he found out he has final-stage stomach cancer. In such cases, there is only a 5 percent chance of recovery. Andrey made the key decision to get treatment in Russia and to show, in his own case, that patients have the right to know what is happening with them. To question doctors in charge, to make their own informed decisions, and not to take everything someone says at face value. This project aims to identify organizations where a cancer patient can get help and support. And he also describes not just the system of oncological care in Russia. Andrey shares his own feelings and the way his illness influenced the life of his family.
