The organisers of the Moscow exhibition are the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the Russian capital (DVMS) jointly with the Urban Planning Policy and Construction Complex of Moscow.

The Moscow stand will house conferences, plenary sessions and round tables, during which members will discuss the impact of digital technologies on urban planning strategy, the increase of return on urban panning projects and the reduction of construction costs, changes in the demands of citizens to construction quality and the fully-integrated approach of developers to the formation of city districts, the main investment drivers, and many other topics.

The experts will discuss what transformation projects global cities need today to remain competitive, what solutions in the area of housing and urban planning policy are needed now by global cities, and how to balance the interests of the city, the citizens and investors. They will also discuss the topic of the upcoming 2020 Forum, and try to answer the question: what makes a city a superstar?

The panellists include the Minister of the Government of Moscow, Sergey Cheremin, the Head of the Urban Planning and Building Regulation Department of Munich, Elizabeth Merk, the General Director of Tegel Projekt GmbH Berlin, Philipp Bouteiller, the Head of the Urban Development Department of the Senate of Berlin, Manfred Kühne, the General Director of RG-Development, Tatiana Tikhonova. 'Over the last ten years, Moscow has changed significantly in many areas, and we are launching a cycle of discussions on the transformation of cities and on superstar cities, which act as magnets, examples and models of urban development', says Denis Boykov. 'We have already announced the date and the venue: this is our first event within the framework of the upcoming Forum in Moscow, and for the first time the MUF participated in ExpoReal with a relevant international agenda'.

At the Moscow Government stand, it will also be possible to buy books issued as a part of the publishing programme of the Moscow Urban Forum, including the undisputed hit of last year's Forum: the Russian translation of Professor Mazda Adli's book 'Stress and the City'.

The Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations, in cooperation with the Urban Planning Policy and Construction Complex of Moscow, will present an interactive multimedia complex, 'Map of Moscow', to promote the key concepts and practical solutions in the areas of architecture, urban planning, urban and economic development strategies of Moscow as one of the largest megacities of the world.
