Prospective participants of Moscow Urban Forum 2021 (MUF 2021) can register until June 20. The international urban development congress will be held in Zaryadye from July 1 to 4. Applications can be submitted for participation in the 10th jubilee of the Forum on the website. Registration is limited.

The business program has already been uploaded to the website. Panel discussions, round-table meetings, international dialogues, and key speaker presentations will be held from July 1 to 2, 2021. The first day of the Forum titled Superstar Cities. Lessons from Transformation will be devoted to a discussion of global challenges that megapolises are facing and a survey of the concept of superstardom, successful projects, and cases of urban transformation that have taken place in different cities over the last decade. The second day of the Forum is titled New Prospects. Looking to the Future and will focus on discussion, forecasting new challenges, the presentation of state-of-art urban projects of the future, the development of international cooperation, and dialogue between megapolises aimed at answering questions about the future of cities.

Due to the difficult global epidemiological situation, MUF 2021 will be held in a hybrid format, involving the traditional offline participation of Russian and foreign speakers and an online connection with foreign speakers from different parts of the world. Offline participation in the event will also be restricted. However, everyone can join the Forum at mosurbanforum.ru and present their questions to the speakers using an interactive online platform designed specifically for the 2021 Forum.

The events of the business program of the Moscow Urban Forum 2021 will be arranged in nine tracks, dedicated to the transformation of various spheres and sectors of urban life: urban leadership and management, urban environment and housing, transportation and mobility, the urban economy and business, culture and social well-being, as well as the transformation of urban technology and science. The second international congress Urban Health, focusing on urban health issues, will be held as a part of the Forum. In total, the business program will include over 90 sessions.

The event will unite over 350 international and Russian speakers: managers, business representatives, experts, and architects. They will discuss the experience of modern sustainable cities, the megalopolises that have been recognized as global leaders for decades, as well as cities rising in prestige due to their unique features. It is not easy to become a superstar city: only cities implementing the most daring ideas and unique projects while taking care of their residents become leaders. Human-centrism contributes to the competitiveness of a city, say the Forum's experts.

Key speakers will conclude the program on both days: Daron Acemoğlu, American professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), listed among the top ten most-cited economists in the world and laureate of the Global Economy Prize (2019), and Martha Schwartz, the renowned American landscape architect.
