Urban symbiosis. PPP models in global agglomerations

The system of cooperation between the public and private sectors of the economy has been undergoing major changes: the public sector is shrinking, and roles in the development and administration of major aspects of city life are gradually being handed over to private business. In these conditions authorities are faced with the task of moving towards strategic partnership with the private sector and forming a new system of cooperation. ● What are some successful examples of PPP that have stimulated the development of megalopolises? ● Which roles in the development of cities and regions may be handed over to the private sector, and which may not? ● How can effective coordination be established between the public and private sectors? ● How can a balance be found in cooperation between the state and business in Moscow?
