Takaharu Tezuka is a japanese architect, Co-Founder of Tezuka Acrhitects, a professor of Tokyo City University. Tezuka Architects projects are based on the principle of its Founder: construction should follow the nature, adjust to it, arranging building in accordance with the surrounding landscape and climate conditions and using original construction tools and innovative materials. The firm is mostly known in Russia for the reconstruction Fuji kindergarten and the construction of the Museum of Natural Science near Tokyo.
Projects of Tezuka Architects were awarded several times by Annual Architectural Commendations of Architectural Institute of Japan (in 1998, 2003, 2005, 2016), Good Design Prize of Japan Institute of Design Promotion (in 2015 and 2016) and Kids design award of Kids Design Association (in 2007 and 2016).
