Ilya Mochalov

Ilya Mochalov is a leading Russian landscape architect.

• Director General and Partner of Ilya Mochalov and Partners. 
• Member of the Expert Council at the Moscow Department for Environmental Management and Protection
• Lecturer in the Department of Landscape Architecture of Moscow State Forest University
• Jury member at the 9th European Landscape Bienniale (Barcelona, 2016)
• Secretary General of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) from 2011–2015

Ilya Mochalov started his career as a landscape architect in London in 1994. He continued his career in Moscow as Chief Landscape Architect in the Moscow office of Bruns Pflanzen.  Since 2003, he manages his own company specialising in large-scale landscape architecture projects.

His projects include park areas, gardens, villages, microdistricts, rooftop gardens, and landscaping of residential complexes, urban areas and private residences.
