Luis Herrera Favela is an Urban Planner and Architect with more than 10 years of experience in international cooperation and development. He was awarded PhD in Urban and Territorial Planning from University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and MSc in Urban Analysis from the National University of Mexico. Luis has been involved in researching Cultural Heritage as an enabler of urban development in Latin America; he has published several articles on this matter. Since 2013, he works at UN-Habitat, in the City Prosperity Initiative, committed to promoting the use of data as the basis for evidence-based policies.
