Metin Hakverdi

Metin Hakverdi first became a deputy of the Hamburg parliament in 2008. In 2013, he again secured the support of city residents:  having received a direct mandate from his own constituency, he joined the Bundestag. 

Metin is an expert in financial law, a member of the Bundestag committees for finance, budget and EU affairs, as well as the chairman of the SPD faction in the committee of inquiry into the construction of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall in Hamburg.
