Deputy President and Chairman of the Board, VTB Bank (PJSC)

Olga Dergunova has a degree in Economic Cybernetics and Computer Science from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Ms. Dergunova started her career in the IT sector. In 1994 she joined Microsoft and stayed with the company for 10 years. In 2004-2007 Ms. Dergunova, as the President of Microsoft, Russia & CIS, focused on developing and implementing long-term corporation strategies, intellectual property protection issues and IT education in Russia.

In 2007 Ms. Dergunova left Microsoft to join the Management Board of VTB Bank to apply her IT expertise in banking. During her time with VTB Bank she was responsible for and supervised the following areas:

• Corporate Banking Division (banking services for corporate clients from various commodities industries, IT, communications and infrastructure sectors)

• VTB affiliate banks in CIS, Europe, Asia and Africa (strengthening VTB Group’s position as a global provider of financial services and raising business effectiveness).

In 2012 Ms. Dergunova changed the scope of her activities and accepted an offer to work for the Government of the Russian Federation as Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management. Under her leadership a new concept of federal property management was approved, including the development of an effective management indicator system and creation of a unified public registry for state property management.
