Peter Kudryavtsev is an urbanist, sociologist, head of the project group of the Creative Territories Union, Chairman of the Commission for Urban Planning Policy, Architecture and Construction of the Civic Chamber of Moscow. 

From 2005 to 2008, he was the publisher and editor-in-chief of the professional ARX magazine, co-owner of the Building Media Group. In 2007, along with the urbanist Vyacheslav Glazychev, he founded the TDI (Territorial Development Institute) Company. In just a few years, the institute has created more than 20 major urban development projects for Moscow and the regions. Along with that, Peter led the development of projects for major Russian resorts as part of the team at the Rusresorts Development Company. In 2012, along with Andrei Grinev, he initiated the creation of the “Friends of Zaryadye” public movement. The aim of the partners was to promote the idea of creating a park on the territory of the hotel called “Russia” which had been torn down. Since 2012, he has been a partner of the Citymakers bureau, specialising in sociocultural programming, creating concepts for the development of urban areas and public spaces, as well as specialising in educational projects. In 2013, the Citymakers Bureau, as part of the consortium, won an international competition for their concept of the Zaryadye Park. 

Kudryavtsev is the author of more than a hundred articles in leading architectural publications, as well as the official representative of the architectural competition of the World Architecture Festival in Russia and is part of its jury.
