Paul Manwaring

The IoT Living Lab was created in early 2015 as a project with the CTO office City of Amsterdam and other stakeholders within Amsterdam's innovation ecosystem including Amsterdam Smart City (ASC) and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA). The project began with the mission to kick start the IoT economy by providing open IoT and M2M infrastructure in public spaces then testing with the public using a Living Lab way of working.  

In the fall of 2017 Paul started a new project with the CTO office City of Amsterdam - The City Innovation Exchange Lab (CITIXL) to build a global Living Lab network to test, distribute and scale community driven and socially inclusive Smart City projects.
