Thomas Kraus currently works for an NGO in Berlin that supports schools, kindergartens and institutions for persons with disabilities worldwide. Former he was the director of a life-sharing community for severely disabled adults in Berlin.
Since 1997, Kraus has organized seven “Worldwide Congresses for Persons with Disabilities” across Europe, each with up to 700 participants.
Worldwide congresses have been organized in Serbia, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Tajikistan, Thailand, India, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay. The most recent highlight was the First World Congress “Making Values Visible” which took place 2017 in Ekaterinburg, Russia, with delegates from all continents.
Thomas Kraus tries to raise awareness for disadvantaged groups in social realms.
He has carried out a variety of projects and works with volunteers, professionals, NGO´s, universities and ministries in Serbia, Armenia, Thailand, Vietnam, China Russia, Brazil and Argentina.
