Alexei actively participated in setting up work groups of the National Technological Initiative and development of a number of essential programmes for technology and regional policy. In 2014, he acted as the Programme Director of Forsayt Flot.
Alexei is on the board of directors of the Infrastructure Investment Fund RVK (Infrafond) and the Regional Venture Fund of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. He is also a member of the advisory council for the governor of the Tula Oblast.
Before joining RVK, Alexei also worked in innovations and IT policies. At the Moscow School of Management he was in charge of development of the leading universities; in particular, he implemented the formation programme for rectors New Leaders of Higher Education, the first of this kind in Russia. At the Agency of Strategic Initiatives he acted as Deputy Director of the Department "Young Professionals"; he was one of the originators of Forsayt Flot, World Skills, Global Education.
Alexei graduated from the Higher School of Economics and University of Manchester (Master of Arts in Sociology). He studied in a number of Executive Education programmes at the leading world business schools, such as the Venture Capital Executive Program of the University of California, Berkeley and Smart Innovation Policies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
