Evgeny Kuznetsov

Starting 2009, he held management positions in the Russian Venture Company, and in 2016, served as Acting General Director. In 2017, he headed the Subsidiaries of the Russian Venture Company, and successfully conducted their restructuring.

In the Russian Venture Company, he was engaged in the development of the venture market, support and training of teams of venture funds, in the search and acceleration of start-ups. He launched the National Technological Initiative. He was a member of the Boards of Directors and Investment Committees of funds with the participation of the Russian Venture Company, initiated a number of significant investments in Russian technology companies.

Starting in 2007, he headed the Foundation for the Promotion of Science, Education and Medicine, which conducted a number of national campaigns for the development of the social sphere. Starting in 2002, he was Managing Director of Imageland Edelman and carried out major projects to develop companies and markets, promote them on the Russian and global markets and remove administrative barriers.

In 2015 and 2016, Evgeny was the head of the author group for the development of the National Report on Innovation, commissioned by the Government of the Russian Federation. 

He is a member of the Expert Council of the Presidential Grants Fund, of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation, of the Expert Council of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and of the Presidium of the Council for Foreign and Defence Policy.
