Jeffery Seider has more than 30 years of experience in various aspects of urban renewal, capital project planning and execution, with significant experience in public-private transactions (P3/PPP) across Canada and advising governments in over 25 countries internationally. He has specialized in strategic business case analysis, real estate / infrastructure development and financing, alternative service delivery, public-private partnership and managing the interface between the public and private sectors. Jeffrey brings expert knowledge of the financial implications of public development initiatives and the use of financial instruments to facilitate urban renewal and development. He has advised in pre-development / business planning and study, financial analysis and transaction structuring, as well as procurement advisory.
His project experience includes management and delivery of projects from inception to delivery and operations in all asset classes, from social infrastructure (embassies, hospitals, court houses, office accommodation and residential) to linear infrastructure (transit, roads and highways, airports and shipping ports), economic development and policy. His project experience coupled with the of working both sides of the transaction, namely for the public as well as private sectors, and working globally, enables him to bring an understanding of what makes large complex initiatives work and how to meet the needs of both the public sector and private sector when entering into such PPP transactions.
