Maksim Reshetnikov

Maxim Reshetnikov became Governor of the Perm Krai in 2017. Prior to that, fr om 2012 until 2017, he held the position of the Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow.

In 2003, Maxim successfully defended his thesis entitled "Regional economy management on the basis of financial flows: principles and models" based on the example of the Perm Oblast. During his studies, he collaborated with a group of students interested in cybernetics to create software for modelling and analysing the effectiveness of business processes. After that, Mr Reshetnikov was offered a job in the regional Administration, wh ere he was engaged in planning the region's budget. It was here that his further political career began. 
Maxim Reshetnikov received gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, a medal of the Order "For Merits to the Fatherland", and a Certificate of Honour of the Government of the Russian Federation.
