Natalia Polushkina graduated fr om I. M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. After an internship at Columbia University (New York City, USA), Natalia continued her scientific work at the Faculty of Nervous Disorders of the First Moscow State Medical University, having successfully defended her candidate thesis on central post-stroke pain. Later, Natalia completed an MBA programme at the American Institute of Business and Economics.
Over the next 20 years, Ms Polushkina assumed management positions in leading Russian and international pharmaceuticals companies, wh ere she was responsible for business development in Russia and the CIS. Under the leadership, companies introduced various innovative medications to the market, launched pilot projects on personalised medicine including identification of predictive markers of cancer drug efficacy.
