Alexey Rakitskiy

Alexey A. Rakitsky is 38 years old. He obtained two higher education degrees. In 2005, Rakitsky graduated from Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building with a degree in Architecture. In 2018, he received a Law degree from Tomsk State University. Alexey Rakitsky is a member of Union of Architects of Russia since 2010.
He has 14 years of work experience in architecture and urban planning in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, an oil and gas producing region of Russia.
At the beginning of his career, he held positions of architect and chief architect in projects at various business structures.
From 2013 to 2017, he worked for the Administration of Surgut as head of the General Plan at the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning.
From 2018 to 2019, he worked as head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, chief architect at the Administration of Nizhnevartovsk. He also taught at the Architecture Department of Nizhnevartovsk State University.
From 2019 until recently, Alexey Rakitsky headed the Construction Department of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and was the chief architect of Yugra.
Rakitsky developed and prepared territorial planning documents, master plans, land use regulations, territorial planning and road network projects, design documentation for implementing capital construction projects, as well as regulatory legal support for urban planning activities.
He ensured state support for implementing government programmes aimed at improving citizens' living conditions, designing and constructing facilities of local and regional significance and ensuring a comfortable urban environment.
Rakitsky also supervised the development of concepts for urban spaces and a comfortable urban environment. He designed strategies for investment and integrated territories' socio-economic development and prepared researches on urban agglomerations.
