Head of the Moscow Innovation Cluster Found
Anatoly Valetov is a recognized expert in the field of investment and innovation, foreign economic cooperation, international financial centers, management, and development. In 2019, Anatoly became the head of the “Moscow Innovation Cluster” Fund.

As the head of the Cluster, Anatoly Valetov is responsible for creating an integrated ecosystem and innovation development platform in Moscow, which is designed to unite all participants in the technological market of the city and the country.

Today, the Cluster has more than 20,000 members - these are large corporations and SMEs, industry, science, educational and research organizations. Among the Cluster's current initiatives are the i.moscow platform, a series of technology competitions, the Cluster's investment platform, and the anti-crisis showcase “Business against COVID-19”.

Prior to joining the MIC team, from 2011 to 2018, Anatoly Valetov was Deputy Minister, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of the Moscow Government. In his position, Anatoly was responsible for the development and implementation of policies in the field of attracting foreign investment and the development of Moscow as an international financial center. Anatoly initiated the creation of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers - a key platform for cooperation between leading financial centers from around the world to develop common approaches to creating an enabling environment and infrastructure for the development of the financial sector, taking into account the digitization process. Today Anatoly is an Advisor to the President of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC).
