Born in Riga in 1973.
In 1994, graduated from St. Petersburg State University, Mathematics and Mechanics Department.
In 1994—1995, worked in London within the framework of the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Financial Sector Scheme, a Russian-British program for professional development of financial services sector employees.
Completed training courses in management at the London School of Marketing in 1998; received a diploma in Macro- and Microeconomics from the London School of Economics in 2000.
In 1994, began his career with the AVK Investment Company (St. Petersburg) as a broker. In 1996, was put in charge of government loans in St. Petersburg.
In 1999, was appointed Deputy Director, head of the Dealing Department.
In 2000, was appointed Executive Director of the AVK Investment Company; in 2002, was elected Chairman of the Board, and in 2003, became General Director of AVK.
Between 2006 and 2008, served as partner of the Eventis Telecom Holdings Investment Company.
In 2008—2009, held the position of Chairman of the Board at OJSC Yakutgazprom.
In 2009, joined VTB Group as Chief Operating Officer of VTB Capital Investment Management; in 2012, was promoted to the position of the Chairman of the Company’s Executive Committee.
From 2013 to 2017, was Senior Vice President of VTB Bank.
In February 2018, took the leadership of VTB Leasing.
Ranked among the Top 10 senior executives of the financial sector, part of the Top 1000 Russian Managers.
Deputy Chairman of the Leasing Subcommittee at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Chairman of the Board of Leasing Union, a non-profit partnership.
