Fred Sitbon is a Deputy Mayor of Asnières-sur-Seine. Asnières-sur-Seine is a city (commune) with 90 000 citizens, which lies on the left bank of the river Seine, some eight kilometers from the center of Paris in the north-western suburbs of the French capital. As a Deputy Mayor Fred Sitbon is responsible for following areas in the city: Economic development, Digital Technologies, Roads, Transportation, Lights, Urban services, Energy. Fred Sitbon is Vice President of Sipperec, French public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation for energy, and digital technologies and is also a Vice President of Velib’ Metropol, Well-known French organization which proposes rental bicycle in Paris and cities around Paris.
Fred Sitbon is elected member of Etablissement Public Territorial (EPT), which is an administrative structure having the status of a “public inter-municipal cooperation establishment” created in 2016 as part of the creation of the Greater Paris Metropolis (MGP) within the three departments of the Region “ile de France”, the most populous of the eighteen regions of France. The mission of the EPT is to develop strategy in different areas including economic development of the territory or cleaning services, as an example. Fred Sitbon was elected in EPT to present interests of the territory called “boucle nord de seine” with cities of Argenteuil, Asnières-sur-Seine, Bois-Colombes, Clichy-la-Garenne, Colombes, Gennevilliers and Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
Fred Sitbon is Smart City Lead for Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe and expert on smart cities subjects.
Fred is at Microsoft for 21 years with different roles from Technical, Sales and Management roles.
