Gabriel is an Architect from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a Master of Urban Economics from the Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT). He is currently the coordinator of the Urban Environmental Plan of the City of Buenos Aires, Founder and President of Urbanteo, and consultant for the IDB and the World Bank. He is also the Director of the Postgraduate Program in Metropolitan Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires.
He has been director of the CIPPEC Cities Program, Co-Chair of the T20 on climate change and environment issue during 3 consecutive years, and directed the Metro Lab Initiative course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2015 and 2018.
He is co-editor of the paradigmatic publication on metropolitan matters: “Steering the Metropolis” (IDB, 2019).
He has extensive experience both in the public and private sectors and in civil society in matters of program design, public policies on urban and territorial development as well as environment, inclusion, collaborative economy, urban mobility and governance.
He is a professor and researcher for several Latin American universities and a speaker at numerous national and international ones.
