Roberto Nassi is Head of International Delivery for Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia at MM S.p.A (formerly known as Metropolitana Milanese) the city engineering company owned by the Municipality of Milano.
He is currently responsible for the delivery and management of the international projects for the development of Mumbai Metro and Chennai Metro in India summing up 100km of Mass Rapid Transit infrastructure with implementation of Transit-Oriented Design, Multi-Modal Integration, and experienced engineering.
Roberto has more than 18 years of experience in city and mega infrastructure development including Expo 2015, High-speed rail between Milan and Turin, Highway renewal in peripheral Milan, and Metro implementation in developing countries.
Roberto played a pivotal role in changing his small community being one of the youngest Mayor of Italy leading the revamping of the small town of Torrevecchia Pia, North Italy a community of 3.500 inhabitants, his native place with Urban development, Elderly Care Hospital, and new Educational and Self Development Projects.
Passionate in complex multidisciplinary engineering projects and Public-Private Partnership driven projects, Roberto is leading the change of Mumbai and Chennai city development through innovative urban revamping with major underground and elevated infrastructure implementing the specific knowledge of strategic project execution with a holistic approach for design, contract, and construction for a successful social impact.
