Vladimir Filippov

Deputy Head of Moscow Department of Labour and Social Protection

In 2004, Vladimir graduated from the Russian State Social University of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Russian Federation. As a student, he was a chairman of the student academy of social sciences. In 2007, Vladimir successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of social sciences. From 2008 until 2012, he was head of the administration of the Department of Family and Youth Policy at the North-Eastern administrative region of Moscow. Vladimir was one of the creators of Youth councils. From 2012 until 2013, he served as deputy head of the Department of Family and Youth Policy of Moscow. From 17 April 2013, he acted as head of the Department of Family and Youth Policy of Moscow. From 2013 until 2018, he was deputy head of the Department of Culture of Moscow.

On 23 October 2018, Vladimir was appointed deputy head of the Labour and Social Protection Department of Moscow. Mr Filippov oversees inter-institutional projects related to social development.

He has a civilian rank of Class-1 State Councillor of Moscow.
