Fran is an architect in London. Her work is focused on re-establishing the everyday lived experience as the central consideration for architecture and urban design.
Her office is currently working on 12 housing sites to deliver 100% affordable housing in the London Borough of Hounslow and regeneration strategies in South London and South West England including a study for ‘15 minute town’, promoting sustainable and healthy movement.
Prior to establishing her office, Fran was an officer in the Greater London Authority (Mayor of London), leading on strategic design advice on a £1.5bn London regeneration programme. She has overseen the delivery of many regeneration and high street improvement projects designed to boost wellbeing in the most deprived London neighbourhoods.
She is a design advisor and review panel member for local authorities in London and South East England, and an expert witness on planning appeals and public enquiries. She teaches widely.
