Denis Romodin

Architectural ethnographer, Local History Union of Russia

Denis has a PhD in political science, and is a member of the Union of Local History of Russia, and Senior Researcher at the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia. He has authored articles on 20th century Moscow architecture in Afisha, Bolshoy Gorod, The Village, and Moscow Heritage magazines, as well as municipal Moscow publications. Denis participates in regional history conferences, and is an advisor on the history of Moscow architecture and life in the second half of the 20th century in TV projects including City Walks and others. He is one of the developers of the concept of architectural tours throughout the cities of Russia. Author and host of tours in Moscow and the Moscow region.
